Ingredients
- 5 chicken breasts
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth or water
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Feel free to add seasoning to your liking.
- Pour chicken broth (or water) into the inner pot.
- Place the chicken breasts on silicone trivet.
Option 1 - Fresh Chicken
- Press Pressure Cook/Manual function and set the timer for 8 minutes. Once the cooking time is up, set the valve to “venting” for a Quick Release.
- If you prefer a crispier finish, you can sauté it for 1 minute on each side.
Option 2 - Shredded Chicken
- Press Pressure on the Cook/Manual function and set the timer for 10 minutes. Once the time is up, set the valve to “venting” for a Quick Release. Drain the remaining liquid and shred the chicken breasts with a fork.
Option 3 - Frozen Chicken Breast
- Press the Pressure Cook/Manual function and set it for 12 minutes. Once the cooking time is up, set the valve to “venting” for a Quick Release. If you prefer a crispier finish, you can sauté it for 1 minute on each side.
