here are six things you didn't know about Instant Pot:
If you want to get rid of bad smells before storing your Instant Pot, instead of putting your lid back and sealing all the scent in it, store it when the top is upside-down - that way, your sealing ring that holds most of the smell can air out a little bit. Also, by doing so, you can make sure that your dish won't smell the one you cooked before it.
The Dou model's handles serve two porpuses: the first, you can use them to place your lid on top of them - by setting the nob on top of one of them. By doing so, you can avoid placing it on the countertop.
To turn off the Instant Pot's sound, hold down the minus button for three to five seconds. As soon as you do, you'll see that the screen says S Off - which means the sound is off. If you wish to have the sound back up, press down on the plus button for three to five seconds - until you see that the screen says - S On.
The L stands for the time that has passed since the Instant Pot has finished with the cooking. The numbers next to the L will show the amount of time that has passed.
Make educated guesses - the Instant Pot isn't working on exact times; you can use a recipe, and it will ready earlier than expected, so take a look towards the end of the cooking time to see how your dish is doing. You can always add more time. Still, you don't want to cook it over.
Don't try to make yogurt unless you have the Dou pot. It just wouldn't work with the yogurt function.
